A Glance

"A Glance" is a portrait of one quick moment in time, mounted on a cloth covered canvas. The 6" x 6" frame is constructed with wood strips, painted with white paint, and comes ready to hang.

Coffee Conversations is an ongoing series of visits to the local coffee shop and the tapestry weaving that results from the sketches I make. One of the things I first noticed was the woman's gorgeous earrings.
This is a hand woven tapestry made from hand dyed yarns, finished and mounted on a 6 x 8 inch canvas painted with acrylic pants and ready to hang.

Coffee Conversations is an ongoing series of visits to the local coffee shop and the tapestry weaving that results from the sketches I make. This woman was especially fun because she is a fellow sketcher - she had her sketchbook with her and we had a good time sharing.

This tapestry was a commission woven for Midvale Community Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin.

The piece is installed in the church office and visible from the centrally located Community Space.
